A delicious tiny Christmas cookie

Ingredients
  • Swedish Cream Wafers
  • 1 cup butter
  • ⅓ cup thick cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Filling:
  • ¼ cup soft butter
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yoke (optional- makes the frosting creamier, but is not a must)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • food coloring
Instructions
  1. Mix together well: butter, thick cream, flour, and salt.
  2. Chill dough in the refrigerator.
  3. Roll dough ½ inch thick.
  4. Cut with a small cookie cutters.
  5. Coat in sugar.
  6. Put on a cookie sheet and prick with a fork 3-4 times
  7. Bake at 375 deg. for 7-9mins
  8. Cool, then put together with filling
  9. For filling mix: butter, powdered sugar, egg yoke, vanilla, and food coloring
