This morning I heard the Ice Castles in Midway were going to be closing early!! AH!! I have been trying to see these for 3 years now, I was not gonna miss it this year! I jumped online grabbed tickets as fast as I could, call the hubs and told him to get his booty home by 2pm, then went to get the kids out of school! Mini road trip!!

Some days you just gotta pull the kids out of school and have an adventure! For some strange reason my kids always cry when I pull them out of school. I guess it’s a good thing, they love school so much! But man, it sure puts a damper on my mom excitement. I think I am being the “cool mom” taking them out of school…then they cry….. super lame. HA!!

Anyway, the ice castles were rad. Totally worth the tears I had to endure. 🙂

I have a tip for you though – LOOK UP! It’s gorgeous.

It’s SO AWESOME!!!

It was hard to keep track of this wild man, he was crazy excited.
